Two Stage Extruder
ZL series, that’s two stage compounding extruder consisted of two parts. Mainly there are three types of two stage extruder combination:
1. Single screw main extruder machine-single screw submachine
2. Single screw main pelletizing machine-twin screw submachine
3. Twin screw main pelletizing machine-single screw submachine
The first two types are widely used for recycled plastic granulating.
And the third type for heat-sensitive material like PVC, POM, XLPE etc.
The twin screw extruder (SJSL-) at the first stage is to realize good shearing and compounding for material, and then the extrusion and pelletizing by YD single screw extruder (second stage). The new, scientific and advanced design and structure can avoid material decomposition caused by material overheating

Main technical parameter of ZL180-75B
1. YD-180 main machine parameter:
a. The screw ￠180mm,
b. The screw material: 38CrMoALA, nitrogen hardening. The hardness of the surface is HV950-1050, deep layer: 0.5-0.7 mm,
c. The barrel material: 38CrMoALA, nitrogen hardening. , the hardness of the surface is HV950-1050; deep layer: 0.5-0.7 mm;
e. d. Screw centre high 900mm； by involute spline connecting with gearbox and screw,
e. Screw length: ~5040mm；Barrel heating: cast- Aluminum heater. Heating power: 60kw, divided to 9 zones, controlled by separately, has
one heating zone on the machine head, total heating zone are 10 zones.
Cooling by fans. Heating capacity: 0-500 ℃；
f. Main machine gear box mode type is 315. I=16, with high torque, and hard gear face, using SKF imported bearing, material of the
gear axial is 20CrNiMo, by immerse carbon and heating treated, HRC60-63;
g. Motor power: AC motor 132 KW, transmitting by belt, with inverter of Yolico, screw speed: 0-58rpm.
2. SJSL75B submachine.
S a. Screw diameter: ∮71mm, Barrel diameter: ∮71.8mm.
b. Length-diameter ratio of the main machine: 36: 1 (L/D=36)The screw elements are connected to the core axle through involute spline.
c. The main motor adopts AC motor with a power at 132KW, Yolico brand inverter to adjust the speed. Screw Output Speed 0~500rpm.
d. The screw elements material is W6Mo5Cr4V2(6542＃)high speed tool steel that had been treated by the vacuum hardening process
with the hardness of the surface is HRC58~62.
e. The kneading screw elements material is W6Mo5Cr4V2(6542＃)high speed tool steel that
had been treated by the vacuum hardening process with the hardness of the surface is HRC58~62.
f. The matrix of the barrel is made of 45＃forged steel with the abrasion-resistant alloy 101 (Ni-Fe-Cr-W) inside that smooth and abrasion resistant. The hardness is HRC60-64.
g. The mandrel is made of high quality 40CrNiMo that with high tenacity and durability. It had been treated by the hardening and tempering process. The hardness is HRC28~32.
